BeiBi is a marketplace for pre-owned luxury. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace and keep it safe, and we never sell your personal data.
What we collect
Account details (name, email) via our sign-in provider; your listings and orders; messages you send to other users; shipping addresses; and, for sellers, identity-verification (KYC) and payout details.
How we use it
To operate your account, process orders and payouts, enable buyer–seller messaging, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and meet our legal obligations.
Identity & sensitive data
Seller identity-verification data (such as ID number and date of birth) is encrypted at rest and automatically deleted once verification is decided, or purged if a submission is left un-reviewed. Payout details are stored only as a masked summary.
Payments
Card and payment details are handled by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers. Order and transaction records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to run the site. Anything beyond that runs only with your consent, which you set in the cookie banner and can change at any time.
Your rights
You can download all the personal data we hold about you, and delete your account, from your Account page. Deleting your account erases your personal data; transactional records are kept where the law requires.
Messaging & moderation
Messages between buyers and sellers are scanned to redact off-platform contact details and may be reviewed by our trust & safety team when a report or dispute is raised. You can report or block another user at any time.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
